Dr. Jennifer Friehe is not your typical eye doctor. With a sharp eye for style and a deep love for great eyewear, she brings a fresh, modern energy to eye care at Specs Appeal. Her approach blends clinical expertise with a genuine appreciation for how glasses can express who you are.
She graduated with honors from UW-Whitewater in Clinical Science and Mathematics and went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2000. Over the years, Dr. Friehe has practiced in independent optometry settings, ophthalmology offices, and as an optometrist in the Wisconsin Air National Guard, experiences that shaped her well-rounded and thoughtful approach to care. Michelle has been working in the optical industry for 20+ years now and has loved every minute of it! She started her optical journey in Charlotte, NC, working at the front desk of a small optometry practice. She became intrigued with the eyewear side of the practice, and soon became a full-time optician. Read more >
Dan is a nearly ten-year veteran of the vision care industry, having earned certifications from both the American Board of Opticianry and the National Contact Lens Examiners. He joined the Specs Appeal team in 2024 after honing his craft at optometric practices across Milwaukee, and brings work ethic, an eye for the perfect fit, and a terrible (by his own admission) sense of humor to every patient he works with. Dan takes pride in being involved in every aspect of patient care at Specs Appeal, from check-in and diagnostic testing for exams, to finding the perfect pair of frames, to repairs and adjustments to ensure you're seeing-- and looking-- your best.
Ariana is the newest member of the Specs Appeal team. She is passionate about helping patients of all ages find their perfect pair of glasses. She can often be found teaching new contacts wearers the (literal) ins and outs of wearing contact lenses. Ariana is excited to learn everything and anything and share all her knowledge with you.
After working for years in the fashion clothing and jewelry industries, Tina has made the leap to the ultimate accessory...Eyewear! Tina greets everyone with a smile and looks forward to assisting and chatting with our fabulous patients. Tina feels the best part of her job is creating relationships with our patients.
